Remember when scrolling social media or talking to friends/family it is your journey. These are the pages you are writing. You and only you get to write how the story goes. Don’t let other influence these pages in ways that are not what you want or need.
The journey is yours alone.
Stop comparing yourself.
You do you!
Many people won’t understand.
Many people will push their fears into you.
Many people will ask why.
Many people will call you crazy.
Many people will compare you to someone else, for good or bad.
Many people will give unsolicited advice.
Many people just don’t get it.
But these people don’t pay your bills. So take what you find useful and leave the rest. Most of these people are coming from a good place but just have horrible delivery.
Remember where you are in your journey. Don’t be comparing yourself in chapter four to someone that is in chapter twenty-four. Heck don’t even be comparing each other’s chapter fours because we are all beautifully and uniquely made. We will each have our own personal journey to tell. No two are the same.
So just do you. But the most fabulous, epic, take no shit, do crazy things, dream big version of yourself. Live life to the fullest. Do what sets your heart on fire!
