My Go-To Running/Hiking Warm Up

It is important to warm up the body before you start any workout. You don’t want to shock your “cold” still muscles with a sudden burst of activity. Give your body and muscles the love it deserve before you go on a run or hike. PS you can use this warm up before walks, bike rides, rowing, even strength training too!

Warm Up Movements:
– high knees
– butt kicks
– toe touch
– calf scoops
– ankle raises
– hip open and close
– front leg swings
– side leg swings
– yogi squat rock
– side lunge rock
– torso rotation
– bear hug swings

Reps: 10 each side
Rounds: 1x
Time: 5 minutes
