My Top Six Must Have Home Gym Items

I’d like to introduce y’all to my bro’s, my homies, my pals, my gang, my squad, my ride or dies… ok you get the point. With these items you can have a killer home gym and best part it won’t cost you that much.

Introduction please…

The Dumbbells (recommend you start with 5’s, 8’s, 10’s, 12’s, and 15’s – remember your lower body can/needs to take more weight than your upper body)
The Bands (both fabric (aka booty bands) and rubber (aka mini loop bands) – get a three or four pack with multiple weight from extra light to heavy)
The Sliders (if you have never used them you’ll hate me later and if you have used them you know the burn they bring)
The Super Bands (these guys are easy to pack for travel and allow you to add resistance without the weight of the dumbbells or go crazy and add them with your dumbbells)
The Baby Bells (yes I’ll say it you should also have 2’s and 3’s in your lineup – try to do some barre moves with these and tell me later how much your muscles burn – plus they are soooo cute)
The Cushion (it wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t have cushion for our bodies while we do these movements – so grab your full size yoga mat or mini yoga mat or the knee pads and get to sweating – and those yoga blocks come in handy when you are working towards full range of motion but you’re not there yet)

There they all are. So fabulous. They can help you shine bright… with sweat that is!

No excuses sis! We can all create a fabulous home gym with just a few items. And remember you don’t need to go out and buy it all today. You can grow your collection over months or even a year.
