I agree there is so many things to do and which should you do first. It can get very overwhelming quickly and that’s the last thing you want when you’re trying to disconnect and get lost. Well not like lost lost but lost from modern day technology and craziness. But I am here to help you have a peaceful entry to the trail.
Five Easy Steps:
1. Pick location of hike. (National Park, State Park, Natural Area, City Park, etc)
2. Selects trail(s) and get all information you can about them. (Length, elevation, terrain, difficulty, weather, animals, etc.)
3. Pick date of hike. (depending on your base fitness level and what trails you want to do will vary how long you should be training to attack the trails – make sure to plan enough time to train)
4. Create workout plan to have you trail strong when you hit the trail. (this is where I come in to help you build the right strength, cardio, endurance, mobility, etc plan so you can be strong on the trail)
5. Head out to the trails and become trail fabulous!
There are also a million other small things we need to discuss and plan during this time but that’s why you get a Sherpa, like me, to help you prepare and execute your adventure. My number one goal is to have you confident and prepare to hit the trail and have an amazing hiking experience. And then you’ll be ready to plan your next one right away!
