You say strength training isn’t for you. You say you don’t like it. You say it’s too hard. You say you don’t have time. You say you don’t see results. You say you say you say…
Stop with all this bullshit and it’s time to try it again. Strength training is so important for everyone. At its core it will help you live a functional lifestyle. But more important strong muscles, ligaments, and bones keep going well into your golden years. So this isn’t just about performance or appearance.
It’s time to ask so hard questions and reflect:
– Why do you believe it isn’t for you?
– What did you love the most?
– What did you like least?
– How long did you try?
– Where you consistent?
– How much time do you have?
– What are your goals?
– Why is strength training important to you?
– What kind of accountability do you need?
– What results where you tracking before?
– Why do you say you didn’t see results?
– What motivation do you need?
Once you can be honest to yourself about the questions that relate to you the most then you can create a plan (on your own or with a coach) on how to try strength training again. But this time focused on what brings you joy and happiness, what is specific to your goals, and what you will be able to be consistent with.
Great news! Strength training is my jam. It’s my first love and true love. I want to share that enthusiasm and knowledge to guide you on your strength training journey. I am here to be your Sherpa and your biggest cheerleader. 💖
